This is Paul, Agent’s CEO.

We established Agent back in 2006 – it feels like yesterday and what a ride it’s been.
We turn 18 years old this year and the future has never looked brighter for us.

We’re a full-service brand and communications agency. In a nutshell, this means that we deliver a full integrated offering for our clients – from start to finish. Our clients are based all over the UK, across a whole range of different sectors and industries; clean growth and net zero, tech for good, logistics and connectivity etc. We’re in business for good and they are too. We help them share the great stuff they’re doing, whilst encouraging and supporting them to grow their businesses and make even bigger impact.

Last count, there are over 40 of us in our growing team; strategists, designers, animators, programmers, copywriters, digital marketers, canines – the lot. We’re a close-knit, passionate bunch that love working together and supporting each other; bringing our individual skills and talents together to create brilliant work that works is what we do best.

We’re a growing business and we’re doing it sensibly, responsibly, and sustainably.

Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle and Manchester’s Oxford Road.

We are looking for a driven, ambitious, and passionate Head of Creative. Does this sound like you?

The role will involve:

  • Overseeing the design, development, and delivery of creative projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, innovative, and impactful creative work that will exceed the expectations of our clients
  • Leading and designing exceptional creative work for high-value client accounts
  • Leading our agency’s brand direction and positioning
  • Continually evolving our design processes to make sure that we are always delivering stand-out work that matters to our clients and the markets they operate in
  • Knowledge of the world of websites – being able to ensure a seamless move for projects from creative into our web team
  • Leading on creative pitches; designing, developing and presenting stand- out brand and campaign identities to a range of different clients
  • Having a strong understanding of, and experience in, tendering costing, pitching and creating winning proposals for clients in the public and private sector
  • Having a strong, insatiable desire in researching and implementing new design trends and styles
  • Being extremely confident working with clients in both the public and private sector
  • Thriving in a fast-paced, supportive and dynamic team-first environment but remaining methodical, logical, organised and calm under pressure
  • Being an expert in commercial Adobe software inc. Expertise in Cinema 4D would be advantageous

Management and Leadership:

  • You will be expected to lead a team of talented graphic designers, animators and videographers, managing their individual workloads and providing guidance and leadership
  • Bring at least three years of senior leadership experience to this role
  • Have a positive, can do attitude is a must at It’s important to have a thirst for innovation and a ‘let’s do learn / tackle / achieve this together’ spirit
  • Bringing an infectious energy to our super-close team; we’re looking for someone who is passionate about their work which inspires our team, clients and partners alike
  • Being an active and integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, shaping strategic decision making about the future direction of Agent
  • Working across all departments ensuring effective and efficient lines of communication are delivered to all team members

You’ll need to have:

  • An impressive portfolio of creative work
  • Experience of leading a motivated, passionate, and impactful team
  • Excellent, confident, and accurate communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in forming brilliant relationships with colleagues and clients
  • The ability to manage multiple team members and projects at any one time
