As the festive season approaches, we at Agent are once again embracing the spirit of giving with the return of our beloved ‘All You Read is Love’ campaign. It’s the fourth year running, and we can’t wait to make this one even more special!
Introduced in 2020, we have committed the past three holiday seasons to supporting our local community, sharing the gift of reading with local children in collaboration with our valued clients and partners.
How to Participate
For those who want to get involved, you or your team can make a book donation at our Liverpool or Manchester studios. We welcome new or excellently conditioned books suitable for children or young people.
What books you want to donate is entirely yours to decide – whether it’s cherished childhood favourites, beloved fairy tales, books with a powerful message, or even recent best-sellers that have captured your attention. It’s a fantastic way to share a little warmth and connection during this festive time.
Last year, with the generous support of readers like you, we gifted over £8,000 worth of varied books to more than 1,000 young minds across the North West region. These books were written by an array of well-known authors, emerging talents, BAME and LGBTQ+ voices.
This year, we’ve expanded our partnerships with additional regional children’s charities and community youth groups. Together, we’re ensuring that your chosen stories are reaching the young people who need them most. As always, we remain dedicated to supporting our region’s independent booksellers, purchasing books locally in order to support our high streets.
You can also spread awareness by sharing the message on your socials with the hashtag #AllYouReadIsLove – we’ll be posting plenty of updates across our LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Instagram, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
A special thanks
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Publiship, a global leader in book distribution, for their invaluable support in helping us reach new goals this year. Recent research by the National Literacy Trust and Chase has shown that 20% of parents have reduced book spending due to the cost-of-living crisis. This makes your support even more crucial this year.
Let’s come together and make this holiday season extra special and share the joy of reading!
