World Earth Day

Thoughts -

It’s Earth Day!

To celebrate, we’ve picked out some of our favourite projects that we have been proud to work on with our clients to raise awareness for such an important cause.

From highlighting the value of our woodlands, to encouraging potential commuters to leave their car at home and choose to travel by bus, we are committed to making our earth a cleaner, safer place to live.

Forestry Commission.

Protecting our planet is at the very core of the Forestry Commission’s ambition and is something we’re deeply passionate about, also.

So, we were honoured to play our part in helping raise awareness of the value our woodlands have in society and on the environment, and to lead the development of a visual campaign to raise awareness of biodiversity, and everything we can all do to help save our much-loved forests.

As part of the campaign, we created several videos which focus on the importance of preserving woodlands, with the aim to raise awareness and educate people on the actions we can all do to play our role and help the cause.

You can check out the full campaign here.

Better By Bus.

We’ve been very grateful to work alongside Better By Bus for several campaigns and help them in their mission to get more people travelling by bus.

We created Better By Bus from the very start – from initial research and engagement, to campaign identity and launch. We’ve created and implemented many successful campaigns, including ‘We Can’t Wait to Tackle Climate Change’, which highlights the impressive green credentials of bus travel in comparison to other forms of transport.

We’re proud to play a leading role in helping improve sustainable travel habits across the city region.

Natural England.

As the government’s adviser for the natural environment in England, protecting and restoring our natural world is at the heart of Natural England’s mission and we were fortunate to have assisted them on their Becoming Nature Positive campaign last year.

To help share the all-important message, our creative team created a documentary and 3D animation which advocates for the forward-thinking and innovative approaches four UK based initiatives are having on reversing national declines in biodiversity and the impact of climate change.

Through powerful messages about the decline of our environment and nature, the presenter-led documentary aimed to inspire viewers to join the mission of by joining the Nature Recovery Network Delivery Partnerships.

Environment Agency.

As England’s environmental regulator, Environment Agency dedicate their work to doing everything they can to maintain and improve water quality for future generations.

To help them articulate their storm overflows campaign to the public, we created a 2D explainer video which delves into what storm overflows are, how they operate and the impact that climate change, population growth and sewer misuse are having.

We also ran an animation social media campaign to raise awareness around property flood resistance. With this we designed infographics that the Environment Agency could take to events to share their message as well as hand out to homes at risk of being affected by floods.

Road Haulage Association (RHA).

This year, the RHA have set out on a mission and that mission is to lead the way towards Net Zero.

Launching three campaigns this year, their Environment focus will work with members, local and national political leaders, governments, and the wider industry to facilitate discussions and identify solutions that allow members to invest with confidence in the new technologies necessary to drive down emissions.

Working with the RHA on their campaigns for this year, we have created an animation to explain what the organisation is doing to drive the change in the sector.

Yodel.

At Yodel, their impact on the environment and ensuring they’re a sustainable and forward-thinking business is high on everyone’s agenda.

Not only are they making a big effort to reduce their CO2 emissions through identifying alternative delivery methods and to use alternative fuels publicly shared, but they also run smaller initiatives internally to be a greener company overall – and we’re delighted to assist them on all of these.

From creating their Corporate Social Responsibility document that sings about their commitments to supporting a greener and more sustainable future, to producing a 3D animated video to promote all the organisation’s environmental achievements over the past year – we are thrilled to be part of their journey.
